Chavez Community Garden

Lush garden bed with corn, amaranth, and basil

Chavez Community Garden is a place to reconnect with nature in the heart of the city. An urban food forest transforms an empty lot into a living, edible landscape of perennial plants, while raised beds and on-site composting support the cultivation of rare, heirloom, and seasonal crops.

Chavez Community Garden strives to be both a place of abundance and a living reminder that urban spaces can sustain ecosystems, strengthen communities, and create opportunity.
