Graft Living Studios (GLS) is a 501(c)3 based in Detroit, Michigan reconnecting humanity and nature through hands-on work that strengthens communities and restores the planet.

Rooted in a reclaimed lot at 1296 N Rademacher St within Detroit’s urban landscape, our work centers on creating accessible, healing green spaces through permaculture principles, innovative and affordable construction methods, and community collaboration.

Through this site and our broader projects, our work connects across four primary areas: land stewardship, building sustainable spaces, art and technology, and education and mentorship.
